|This was taken in San Juan during a recent trip.|
This blog has a special focus on dessert (read: cupcakes). But, I am trying to branch out into more savory foods and make dinner for my boyfriend more often.
During the day, I'm a first grade teacher in a sheltered English immersion classroom. I've been teaching Pre-K-second grade to Spanish speaking kiddos for six years. But, next year I'll be going back to school to get my Master's in Speech and Language Pathology.
In addition to cooking and eating, I enjoy hanging out with my cats, one of whom is named Cupcake (here is a picture of us when she was cupcake-sized, soon after I found her).
I hope you enjoy reading about my cooking and seeing my food pictures. If you have any questions, please write to me and ask! I'd love to hear from you.
Here I am in the kitchen with Furpaws, another one of my cats. They love to help with the cooking--Cupcake likes to try to eat butter, and Furpaws sits in the sink waiting for someone to turn on the faucet and give him a drink.
I live in Boston, but have also lived in Houston for four years and Buenos Aires for six months. I love getting culinary inspiration from my travels as well as the places I've lived.
